The visit of Waterholes Canyon near Page is recommended in the early afternoon. For this, the tour at 2:30 p.m. is ideal. The red of the rocks then becomes particularly red. On the way back, above the canyon, you pass Arch. Round trip the tour takes 2 hours (for photographers). It is 3.8 mi with a good 220 yd of altitude.
