Hike at Oak Creek, on Hwy. 89A, about halfway between Flagstaff and Sedona.

The fall colors were heavenly, the scenery gorgeous.
After 4 weeks in the desert, it was a pleasant change for us.
The creek is at about 1600 yd altitude, we had about 70°F and full sun.
It became round trip 8 mi with 235 yd of altitude.
Afterwards we drove to Sedona and emptied the ice cream store.
