Directions
In Lone Pine, California, Whitney Portal Road crosses about halfway through town.
GPS: N36°36'17.5" - W118°03'46.7"
Turn west here and follow this road for about 1.5 mi.
At GPS: N36°35'44,3" - W118°06'32,1" the Movie Road branches off to the right.
Along this dirt road are almost all the arches and other formations.
The sand roads in the area are completely easy to drive on!
