Paul´s airplane from 1947 |
In May in Escalante we found Paul !
Paul had 2 airplanes - an ancient aircraft from 1947, which is slow and has 2 seats,
and a new, sleek aircraft that flies over 400 km/h.
For photographic reasons I decided to use the old, slow machine.
I flew 1.5 hour with him on the route painted below - in between to Page to refuel.
I had written down the GPS points I wanted to see.
Afterwards he flew with Karin 45 min. the most important points.
The flight was so great for us because we flew over all points and took pictures
which we had already hiked before.
Paul wanted $100 for gas - I voluntarily gave him $200. .
The GPS data are in the Exif of the photos.
