This arch is a wonderful destination on the southern HITRR.
But also the hiking trail to it is a highlight par excellence.
It is very varied and with only little elevation gain.

Directions

From Escalante, take Hwy. 12 towards Boulder for 5 mi,
then turn right onto Hole In The Rock Road (HITRR).
Follow HITRR about 41 mi (1 mi after the "Sooner Wash" sign)
and turn left,

This road ends at the trailhead after 1.4 mi.
You go downhill to the leaning hoodoo and continue down into the canyon.
Duration round trip: 3-4 hrs.
