In May in Escalante we found Paul!
Paul had 2 airplanes - an ancient aircraft from 1947, which is slow and has 2 seats,
and a new, sleek aircraft that flies over 300 km/h.
For photographic reasons I decided to use the old, slow machine.
I flew 2 hours with him on the route painted below - in between to Page to refuel.
I had written down the GPS points I wanted to see.
Afterwards he flew with Karin 45 min. the most important points.
The flight was so great for us because we flew over all points and took pictures
which we had already hiked before.
Paul wanted $100 for gas - I voluntarily gave him $200. .
And now the sad news:
Paul no longer flies - he crashed near Escalante one year later.
The GPS data are in the Exif of the photos.
